Leather
| KEBE furniture is available in four different leather qualities: One soft quality and two semi-aniline qualities.
Soft leather (ref. 62) is a corrected grain leather, i.e. marks and irregularities have been largely removed from its surface. The leather has a protective finish for easy cleaning. Thickness: 0.9-1.1 mm. Semi-aniline Balder (ref. 64) is a slightly corrected semi-aniline leather with a soft touch. The hide is printed with a rustic structure which accentuates the character of the leather. Thickness: 1,3-1,5 mm. Semi-aniline California (ref. 68) is an aniline dyed leather coated with a thin finish in order to protect the colour. The leather is smooth and is able to breathe and absorb humidity. Being a full grain leather it has a natural surface. Thickness: 1,3-1,5 mm. |

Natural wrinkles: Before use, the leather upholstery will appear relatively tight as the leather and the inside wadding underneath have not yet been subjected to pressure. The leather and the wadding will expand quite quickly, resulting in the appearance of natural wrinkles in the leather. This will typically happen during the first month, depending on the frequency of use. Subsequently the leather will expand only slightly and settle naturally after about one year of use. These wrinkles are normal, contributing to the charm and beauty of genuine leather. |
